Actually, I've seen JoAnn stores in some other states. So it's definitely not a Utah thing. Fry sauce, on the other hand.... :-P

Congrats on the job, though! I'm sure you'll have fun. 8-)

btw, I'm sitting in the Phoenix airport right now waiting for my plane to Salt Lake. I'm friggin excited!

'Kay, why are you waiting and how can you get on in an airport????

And Amy, they have them in California...we go there ALL the time!!!! My mom and sis are sewers, so we go there like tons. We are regulars....

I do notice lots of young teenage ladies working there, so I'm sure it'll all go good! It'd be fun to have you cut my Mom's fabric! Ha ha!

Oh yeah, and I have an interview for mine tommorrow! Woohoo!

Are they still accepting applications at Seagull? I've wanted to work either there or at the library for a while, but I thought they were done hiring.

You wouldn't mind if I worked there with you, would ya?

My mom worked part-time at JoAnn's years ago. They work their employees really really hard and don't pay much. I was gonna tell you, and my mom said to today too! We did go there today though...and just so you don't think that it's only the "fruits and nuts" stores out here, my mom has a friend in Massachusetts that says there just as bad! Not to influence you or disssuade you, I'm just telling you what she said so you can make a good choice!

Godspeed, and let me know how it goes please!

And a post would be nice for my nerves?

hey yeah. well, i actually have another interview today with seagull and i'm holding out for that job. but, yeah. we'll see how it goes! and good luck spencer! and yeah i'm safe spencer. stop worrying!

Well, I'll stop worrying for now, unless you go and do something like that again. :-! Of course, the usual concern for all women always stays with me, but is not really a worry worry, but I'll try!

And I hope it goes well! I don't know why, maybe it's because we're always in JoAnn's (I always go into the stores with the ladies of my family...I know, I know, call me paranoid...but it's worth it), but I'd get such a kick out of seeing you in JoAnn's! It'd be funny if, forgetting the obvious local difficulties, if me and my mom and sister came there, they wanted fabric cut, and then I say, "Oh, hi Amy! How are you today? Doing good?" They'd be so flabbergasted!!!!!!!!!!!! It'd be just priceless. :-D

Anyway, hope it goes good for you! Oh yeah, and I got hired...so yahoo!

P.S. Hey, the first three letters of the verification code are "spf"...like the sunscreen! Ha ha!

Same back to ya! :-P

But wouldn't that be a riot? Come on, you gotta admit it!!!!! Okay, think of it the other way...you see me at Mervyn's with family?

"Oh, hi Spencer, how ya doin'? How's it been going, paleo?"

Can't you just imagine their faces!!! HAHA!!!!!
